My in-progress queer YA supernatural fiction comic.
Nick Cho is a seventeen-year-old boy with fiery supernatural powers that he can only control by repressing his feelings. After his failed suicide attempt inadvertently conjures a ghost named Inchcrow, Nick and his crush, Wicket, must learn to control their powers and resolve the haunting before Inchcrow drags them into an alternate universe in which Nick's suicide was successful.
A chapter from this story was developed as my thesis for the School of Visual Arts MFA Visual Narrative program under the advising of Gina Gagliano and Terry Blas.
